FAQ's
Q: How long have you played the piano?
A: I've played the piano since 1976, when I was six years old.
Q: Where do you get ideas for your shows?
A: I've been a big fan of A Prairie Home Companion since the early 1980's. I love the idea that many people define memorable parts of their lives, like when they were dating, by the songs that were popular at the time. I'm interested in transporting people through their own minds and experiences, and I don't know anything more powerful than music to do it.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: It varies according to event, and travel distance. Please contact me for pricing information. Most find it a great value, and many find it in their budget to keep inviting me back season after season.
Q: What styles of repertoire do you play?
A: I draw upon a large selection of popular songs from the 1920's through the 50's, what I call the Live Radio Era. Also I play classical music, and some music from the 50's through the 70's.
